Their environment can either be promoting a healthy lifestyle or causing them to engage in behaviors that can be detrimental to their health. It is important to understand what a person’s environment is like so they can be educated on practices they may need to change and care can be individualized to them (Alligood, 2014). | Environment is both intrinsic and extrinsic to the person.
